We had a great Christmas this year. We received many blessing from friends and family through the holiday season. Thank you for that. We feel very blessed to have such amazing friends and family. We hope all of you had a great holiday season as well.

Isn't snow the best!!

With all the snow that we have gotten over the last couple of weeks the girls love to go out side and play in the snow. Their favorite is when Grandpa or Dad pulls them in sleds behind the 4-wheeler. They had so much fun.

Oh, what cute babies make you do!

If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would be oinking like a pig and making blubbering noises to make my baby laugh and then videoing it, I would have said no way. But this is what cute babies make you do.

Kids are so funny.

I am sure every mom has seen these cute turkeys made at school. They are so cute. I glanced at Kamry's and threw it in the drawer.

Upon closer inspection by my sister, we found Kamry was thankful for something alittle unusual.

Oh how cute she is thankful for her dad. We won't mention that Mom wasn't on the turkey. (I am the one that washes her clothes, makes her dinner, helps her with her homework, and all the stuff that moms do and Dad makes the list but not me. It's okay. I'm over it.)
Sydney made the list and strangely this isn't the unusual part, even though you would never think she is thankful for Sydney by the amount of fighting that we break up.

This is the unusual part. My 5 year old is thankful for "porne"?!?!? Hmmmm? I called Kamry upstairs and asked her what this said. And she replies, "Courtney" and looks at me like I am an idiot because I can't read. So I am grateful this Thanksgiving that Kamry is thankful for Courtney and not "porne" Thank goodness for kids or we would live boring lives.

The things that made me smile today!!

I thought I would share the things that made me smile today.

* Courtney(my 2 year old) walking around butt naked except for her dress up high heels.

* Totally forgetting to feed my husbands horses this morning cuz he is out of town and knowing I won't tell him and he will never know.

* Seeing Sydney (my 7 year old) come home from school and the first thing she wants to do is shoot hoops. (this makes me smile cuz I thought for sure she would end up being a cheerleader)

* Watching Courtney sneak an olive off of Kamry's plate at dinner and then laugh to herself when Kamry didn't even see her.

* Sitting in my living room watching my three girls do their own version of their Christmas program on our fireplace. I hope the real version is better.

* Having Sydney come to me and say, "mom, listen to Kamry is she lying", Then having Kamry trying to lie without me knowing but she can never do that.

* Brinley smiling that smile every time I go to get her out of her crib.

*Missing my husband and then being glad that we have such a good relationship that I was actually missing him.

I could keep going but you have the gist of what my day was like. With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I just have been thinking how lucky I am. I am so grateful to have the husband that I do and for my girls. I am grateful for my health. With all that my dad has had to go through with his cancer, it really makes me realize that all my trials are so small compared to what he has to go through every day. I am so very blessed in all aspects of my life. To have the knowledge of the gospel that I will be with my family for eternity. It makes all the craziness of this world right now bearable. I took Brinley to the doctor today and she weighed 19 lbs. She is a chunk. I can't beleive it she is getting too big too fast. Maybe because she is probably going to be our last baby, I am having a hard time. She is so much fun and we are so very blessed to have her in our home. Special thanks to Aunt Penny for the cute outfit. Even if it is 12-18 months and she is only 5 months. Thats okay I would rather have a healthy chubby baby anyways.

My Kamry is one in a million. And for those of you who know Kamry, totally know what I am talking about. I thought I should share something she said a few weeks ago. I am just a little slow on posting it. She had a talk in primary on service. So we had labeled different parts of the body with ways we could give service. As we were practicing Kamry says, "We forgot to use nose!" So then I said, "There isn't anything we could use for nose". So then she says, "Yeah mom we could put smell the holy spirit!" So I said, "You can't smell the holy spirit." And of course she says, "Yes, (sniff, sniff) can't you smell him?" And she was really confused as to why she couldn't say that in her talk. It was so funny. I laughed for days about it. That is one thing Kamry does she makes me laugh every day. And thank goodness for that cuz sometimes that is the only thing that gets me through the day.

The girls had so much fun for Halloween. We went to trunk or treat at the church, then they had dinner, and then a carnival. Scott was in charge of the spook alley and he of course did an awesome job. Kamry wouldn't even go in. They had fun but as a mom I am glad it is over.

Courtney's Birthday

Courtney turned the big 2!!! She liked her lady bug cake and loved her rocking horse that her dad built for her. She rocked all night long. She loved opening all her presents from grandpas and grandmas. We can't beleive that she is already 2. She has grown up soo much in the last year. She is soo much fun and always has a smile or her face.

Kyle never thought he would have a house full of girls but then I never thought I would have a house full of COWGIRLS. But we both have learned to adjust.


Courtney and Sydney at the rodeo. They had alot of fun. Courtney loved all the horses.

Kamry won first place in the goat tying. She was so excitted. Kyle helped her alittle but she wrapped it around the goat all by herself. She was so proud.

This was Sydney's first try at barrel racing. She did the corners alittle wide but she did pretty good for her first try. She needs to practice alot but that is what she likes about it.

Sydney is so excitted for school. She already has her outfit for the first day of school all picked out. She is counting down the days until she starts the 2nd grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Hammond. I think she is more excitted about getting a break from Kamry than she is about school starting.

Kamry is excitted about school too. She just isn't sure about the having to get up early. She has slept in all summer long. She will be going to morning kindergarten and thinks she is big stuff cuz she will get to ride the bus with Sydney.

Courtney is going to be a mess when she figures out that Sydney and Kamry get to ride the bus and she doesn't. She has followed her 2 older sisters around all summer. She always wants to do what they are. It will be hard for her to get used to them being at school.

Brinley is just all smiles. She is such a happy baby. It doesn't take much to make her laugh. Hopefully she surives being Courtney's little sister. When the older girls go to school, she will have to deal with Courtney. Lets hope she is makes it.

The girls are getting so big. They have been alot of fun this summer. Even though they fight alot they still love eachother.

Courtney and Brinley are already hanging out togther. We hope that Brinley will always look up to her older sister and that they are close friends forever.

Brinley is getting so big so fast. She has just started to really laugh out load. She loves listening to the girls talk to her. She smiles at all of them. I think she is just waiting until the day she can run around with them. She is such a blessing in our lives. We didn't think that there would be room for another girl, but she fits in perfectly.
